In October and November 2000 we have organized “Civil pre/election campaign 2000”. As a part of this campaign we have done following: printed 4000 posters with messages of young people from whole B&H. Posters with provocative messages and appearance have invited young people to vote. Posters have been distributed during bus tour in over 20 B&H cities by young people, members of youth organizations. On that tour by our estimate around 3000 young people participated in this bus tour.
During 15 days of the campaign we have visited following cities: Banja Luka, Prijedor, Bihac, Zvornik, Bijeljina, Brcko, Zivinice, Sarajevo, Srpsko Sarajevo, Banovici, Zavidovici, Teslic, Gradacac, Modrica, Odzak, Zenica, Mrkonjic Grad, Kakanj, Konjic, Mostar and Tuzla and we have traveled with bus more than 3.700 kilometers.

In bus 258 young people from 30 B&H cities have traveled; during bus campaign around 900 young people from 40 youth organization have directly participated in activities; more than 8.000 citizens have participated in our activities; beside posters and distributing stickers on streets, we have organized following activities; radio shows, planting trees, art exhibitions, performances, different sport competitions and activities (table tennis, volleyball, basketball, football), poetic nights, small workshops, rock concerts, dance competitions, small round tables, work presentations of youth organizations and their projects, street performances etc.

In addition we have printed 10.000 stickers with same messages and we have distributed them on the B&H city streets, and we have send them through regular mail to all levels of authorities, individuals, NGO (domestic and international). Text on the stickers was:

We Can and Must Build Better Future!
We, young B&H people, aware of political and economic situation in our country, country which in this moment is giving us only one option – to leave it, wish to actively participate in building democratic state, in which we will have equality in front of the law, rule of law and equality of all citizens regardless of their national, religious, gender or age background.

We will not be manipulated, and we will prevent it by going to the election poles and giving our trust to those political parties which can implement European standards in to B&H.

With this campaign we wish to show our responsibility, as toward the state and its future, as to ourselves.
