hCa Tuzla and hCa Banja Luka in cooperation with members of the Youth Network of BIH organized pre-election youth campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This campaign was organized as part of project "Show that you(th) care" supported by foundation National Endowment for Democracy Washington, CORDAID Holland and Balkan Trust for Democracy.
Some of aims of this project were:
- building and strengthening capacities of youth organization in B&H
- increasing knowledge and ability in young people for active involvement in building civil society;
- promotion of democratic values and youth needs;

This campaign for year 2006 was directed toward:

1.Young people in B&H
Pointing on necessity of their voting on these elections and importance of voting, to point toward manipulation from political parties and some youth organizations, which are taking the right to represent all young people in B&H.

2. To candidates of political parties
All candidates of political are to be informed about young people expectations and when they are elected, to ask them to fulfill their pre election promises, demand from them to work on improvement of youth position in B&H, to warn them that they are not elected so they could have good salaries or cars, but they were elected so they could work in best interest of B&H citizens.

3. To Media in B&H
To dedicate more media space to young people in B&H, especially in smaller communities in B&H, because there are also many perspective, talented young people and with their ideas and activities they deserve bigger attention in B&H.
We want to underline that this camping was conducted by members of Youth Network B&H. Youth Network was founded in 1997, and as such represents biggest and oldest youth network of organizations and individuals in B&H.
As part of camping we have made materials, posters and flyers/letters to politicians. Posters were directed to young people in B&H. They were distributed in most of the cities in B&H with aim of motivating young people to go and vote on elections.
Flyers were made as letters of young people to B&H politicians, candidates of political parties on this year elections. In letter we are appealing on our politicians to full their promises and to work on improvement of youth position in B&H. These letters were addressed to all candidates on this year elections 8arround 1800 letters), we have also distributed these letters during our street camping in B&H cities.
On a day of pre-election silence hCa Tuzla and hCa Banja Luka in cooperation with members of youth network B&H have organized on same time (from 11.00-15.30) street campaigns in: Banja Luka, Mostar Sarajevo and Tuzla. We were distributing materials to young people and citizens and we had and cultural program on which we were inviting young people to vote.
Beside these central manifestations, members of youth network B&H were posting posters in following cities, Zvornik, Bratunac, Milici, Bosanska Krupa, Bihac, Velika Kladusa, Bosanski Petrovac, Breza, Konjic, Jablanica, Bijeljina, Gracanica, Zivinice, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar, Tuzla, Banovici, Gradacac, Nevesinje, Prijedor, Teslic, Banovici, Brcko Distrikt, Sanski Most.
