In September 2008 we have implemented pre election youth campaign, which was part of the project "You(th) can make changes - if you(th) get a chance"

This year campaign was directed toward youth in BiH due to their passivity at the voting procedure during previous elections. Beside challenging youth to vote this campaign has a purpose to challenge youth not just to vote but to "choose" i.e. to recognize and understand way they are giving their vote to the candidate/party (quality of program, profile of the candidate etc.)

For the purpose of Campaign we announced a Public competition for selection of the best solution/idea fro campaign materials (poster, sticker t-shirt). We have received many interested solutions/ideas, and we selected and awarded three, which we used on campaign materials.
The Central campaign events were organized on October 4th 2008 at the most frequent places in the cities as follows: Mostar, Gradačac and Zvornik. Local organizers were our partner organizations: HAZ Mostar, KULT BiH (office in Gradačac) and MCM Zvornik. In all mentioned city it was organized cultural-artistic program, and volunteers were distributed materials to the youth and other gathered citizens as well as challenging them to vote at the Election 2008 and take an active role in democratic procedures.
Also, we distributed campaign material to 24 youth organizations/members of Youth Network of BiH who wanted to participate in caring out this campaign and who took an obligation to post, stick and promote campaign materials in their cities on the day of "election silence" (one day before Election) and make our campaign more visible.
