Helsinki Citizens Assembly has been working with youth organizations in B&H on project "Youth and local authorities". Aim of this project was establishing partnership relation between youth and local authorities, youth and local authorities are not opposite sides, and it is aiming toward involvement of young people in local administration and increasing number of young people in process of decision making regarding problems that concerns young people.

In B&H there is no youth policy as any form of strategy which is based on youth needs and there is no long-term action plan also. In order to create such policy we need to have mechanisms for its initiating, creating and implementing, which we don't have in B&H. B&H is aiming toward EU, it is member of European council and it has agreed to follow standards of European council. So all documents of European council are mandatory for B&H. What everybody seems to forget most for these document are about young people and their integration in society and structures which are providing participation of young people on all levels.
Our project activities are continuing with campaign UNITED NETWORKS, this camping is about gathering support and establishing cooperation with institutions, organizations and successful individuals for creation of assumptions for mutual ideas and conduction youth policy on B&H state level.
As part of this campaign we are going to do:
- gathering letters of support of all youth organization, political parties, state institutions and useful individuals;
- through materials (flyers, posters, stickers) promotion of campaign in all B&H;
- signing appeals in streets of B&H cities;
- informing public through press conferences;
All these activities are directed for organizing mutual meetings which will serve for establishing concrete cooperation of all youth networks in B&H. Final aim is to form in B&H one main organization which will go to Council of Europe organization for youth and sport.
